Welcome
Alde Valley Ramblers is a very friendly and sociable group of the Ramblers based in the part of Suffolk Coastal District lying between the Rivers Blyth and Deben. Our membership stands at about 120 which makes us rather small as Ramblers groups go. We are also a fairly new group having been formed as recently as 1995.
We provide regular guided walks in the beautiful Suffolk Coastal area and help to maintain and preserve the paths that make up its rights of way network through our Footpath Working Party Group.
Non-members are very welcome to join a few of our walks on a trial basis; there is normally no charge for joining a walk.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome unless specifically stated in the walk details, but they must be leashed.
Our volunteers make representations about issues concerning the rights of way network, Open Access Land and the beauty of the countryside generally.
